Baystate Health, an award–winning healthcare system and home of the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate, is searching for a Hematologist Oncologist to join Baystate Health’s Regional Cancer Program in western Massachusetts.

Features of this opportunity:

  • Join our team of 12 physicians and 5 APCs who provide interdisciplinary clinics across 5 locations in western MA.
  • We are the region’s only academic cancer program and only program doing clinical research. Our fully integrated program includes radiation, gynecologic, and surgical oncology, and a dedicated oncology inpatient unit.
  • Combination of clinical care and medical education. Faculty appointment to UMass School of Medicine and opportunity to teach our hem/onc fellows, residents and medical students. New Medical School at Baystate Medical Center opens summer 2017.
  • Investigator-initiated research, cooperative and pharmaceutical group trials, with both clinical and QI research opportunities available. Accredited ASCO Quality Oncology Practice Initiative (QOPI) program.  

We seek an individual with outstanding clinical, clinical research, and teaching skills. Interest in benign and malignant hematology is a plus. Our experienced physicians can provide excellent mentorship to those early in their careers.
