Baystate Health, home of the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate, is searching for a Vascular / Stroke Neurologist to join Baystate Health’s Department of Neurosciences & Rehabilitation, located in western MA.

- TALENTED TEAM. Join 56 Neuroscience and Rehabilitation physicians and advanced practitioners who provide state-of-the-art care and are committed to the highest quality patient care. The stroke team consists of 3 stroke neurologists providing consult services. Primary Stroke Center, with plans to apply for Comprehensive Stroke Designation.
- SUPPORT AND COLLABORATION. A cohesive group with strong mentorship available and opportunities to participate in medical education if interested. 24/7 Cath Lab Coverage on site. Advanced Practitioner support.
- DESIREABLE SCHEDULE. Weeknight call is covered by outpatient neurologists, with stroke team responsible for call coverage every 4th weekend only. Tele-stroke coverage from home one week each month.
- COMPETITIVE COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS.
Candidates must be BC/BE in Vascular Neurology. Excellent organizational, communication and team skills are essential, with a strong commitment to quality, safety and patient-centered care.
