Gyn/Onc Advanced Practitioner in western Massachusetts
Baystate Health, an award–winning healthcare system in beautiful western Massachusetts and home of the University of Massachusetts Medical School-Baystate, is searching for a dynamic Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Gynecology/Oncology Division at the D’Amour Center for Cancer Care in Springfield, MA.
This opportunity features:
- The D’Amour Center for Cancer Care is the leading center for gynecological cancer care for western Massachusetts and contributes greatly in the fields on surgery, radiation oncology and chemotherapy.
- Opportunity to be an integral part of our outpatient team, participating in all treatment meetings and planning. Provide chemotherapy and education, medical coordination, triage, wound care and some procedures.
- Work with our experienced team of GYN/ONC physicians and ancillary staff whose commitment has led to a unique sense of team work. Academic and research opportunities abound.
- This position is Monday- Friday with no weekends or call responsibilities.
Candidates should have experience in GYN/ONC, HEM/ONC or acute care. New graduate APs with extensive RN experience will be considered. Comfort working with very ill patients is required.
